Quilting Blocks!

I recently joined an online "Quilt Along" over at Lori Holt's blog and have been having so much fun.

Here are some blocks that I've made. Now mind you, I'm a total beginner, so they are not super perfect. I am getting better though.

This is called the "Apron Strings Block" from Week 1 of the quilt along. My very first quilting block!

This is the "Autumn Star Block" from Week 2 of the quilt along. This was quite the challenge for a newbie!! Matching up points is a tough thing. But I think I did ok.

Also from Week 2 of the quilt along is this is the "Baby Chick" block. Isn't is super cute?  I love the patterns that Lori Holt has in her book. Once you start piecing your fabric together and see these things coming to life, it makes your heart go pitter patter! Well, at least in my case!  This block and the Autumn Star above were from two weeks ago! :)
