More seams not lined up. I honestly look at these and I still cringe. I have to remind myself that it was my first quilt so I shouldn't expect it to be perfect.
See the quilting line that's gone wonky? I tell ya!
Another area of the quilt that's disappointing, argh!
Sometimes I feel like taking the whole thing apart and redoing it all over again. But then I think, nah, I'm not that crazy! Now don't get me wrong, I am really happy that I took the class, yet disapponted at the same time.
I am so grateful to all of those women whose videos I watched on YouTube that gave me a better understanding about how to cut the fabric, line up the seams, basting, binding, and all that good stuff. I feel like I can really dive in and make a really great quilt if I just take my time and pay attention to what I'm doing!
I have a pretty good stash of fabric that I've been buying over the last couple of years and lots of good patterns that I have found on the internet. My only issue now is which one do I make, hmm! Stay tuned friends! ;)
Have a fantastic day and thank you again to those who stop by for a visit to this little ole' blog! :)
