Learning New Things

I managed to squeeze in a dress a couple of weeks ago. I really like how this one turned out

I recently learned how to make this fabric yo-yo, or what I like to call a fabric rosette. I've seen these many times, but never bothered to learn until I saw this bag on Taunjalynn's blog. Just scroll down a bit and you'll see her bag with the yo-yo (or rosette) on it. Sooooo adorable!!! I found this YouTube video that was really helpful.

 I made a couple of them to attach to the pocket of my dress... I love them.

 I really love how they look. They make the dress look so much cuter instead of just having plain pockets!

Give them a try, they are sooo easy. I'm not sure why I waited so long to try one!
