Chips anyone??

Kale chips, that is. My "craft" today is actually a recipe of Kale chips. My kids have been asking me for some time to make them some after they saw me "pin" the recipe! hehe  I thought today would be perfect to finally try them out. They were so yummy!! My kids, hubby and I gobbled them up. They were delish!

Start with a bunch of kale. (I pay $2.99 for an organic bunch at my local grocery store.)

Rinse really well and pat them dry as best you can. Remove the leaves from the stem. Rip them to about 1- 1 1/2" pieces and lay on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. (Forgot to take a pic of that, oops.)

Drizzle with a bit of olive oil and toss to make sure all of the kale is coated with the oil. I use a Misto sprayer. Then sprinkle with salt of your choice. I used light grey celtic sea salt.

Set your oven to 275*.  Once pre-heated, place your kale in the oven for 20 minutes. I know my timer says hours, but lets just pretend I actually entered it in minutes, mkay!

And this is what they look like after they're done. They shrivel and the edges are nice and crispy/crunchy.  They are really tasty. You should try it, they are a healthy alternative to potato chips! Enjoy!!

Thank you so much for visiting my blog. Please feel free to leave a comment. God bless!!
