A new pattern was posted on the 15th on the
Fat Quarter Shop's blog. The Friendship block is so pretty. I couldn't wait to get started on them, but you know, that homeschooling thing sort of takes precedence over my sewing! :) Anywho, I managed to get my pieces cut one evening last week and was then able to sew the blocks together the next evening!!
I have been using Pam Kitty Morning fabrics to put these blocks together with! I sure do love me some pretty fabric! :)
Look at the combo of the grey with the pink flowers!! Gah, I could just die!!
I want this quilt to be easy on the eyes. I'm not a fan of big bold prints, but sure do love anything soft and dainty!!
I am so thrilled with how they turned out! As usual, I'll be waiting on pins and needles for next month's block which will be posted on May 15th!!
Have you ever tried a quiltalong (QAL) before? Well, this is my second one and I am hooked! I won't do just any QAL. The pattern really has to draw me in and I can tell you that this one was a hook, line, and sinker!! ;)
